Controller and contact
Data Map Studio is provided by Xianchang Meng.
For privacy questions or support, contact datamapstudio@divohne.com.
Information the app may access
Data Map Studio may access information needed to operate the application, including:
- database connection settings that you enter;
- database schema metadata, such as table names, column names, keys, and relationships;
- query results that you choose to view, save, or export;
- saved Data Maps, working tables, saved views, import/export files, and local workspace settings;
- diagnostic information you choose to provide when asking for support.
Depending on the databases and files you use with the app, this information may include personal information.
Local-first processing
By default, Data Map Studio processes your workspace data locally on your device.
Data Map Studio does not send your database contents, table data, queries, saved maps, exported files, connection passwords, private signing keys, or user-created workspace data to Divohne servers or any cloud server.
Database credentials are stored locally on your device and are used only to connect to the data sources that you configure.
Data Map exports and imports
If you choose to export a Data Map, the exported file contains Data Map structure and metadata. Data Map exports are designed not to include database passwords or private signing keys.
If you import a Data Map, the app lets you review the imported structure locally. Imported maps do not automatically connect to your databases. You decide whether to bind imported map items to local data sources.
Microsoft Store licensing and purchases
Data Map Studio may use Microsoft Store services to manage installation, purchase, licensing, and Free/Full feature availability.
Microsoft may process purchase, licensing, installation, crash reporting, account, and device information according to Microsoft's own privacy policies and Microsoft Store terms. Data Map Studio uses Microsoft Store license information only to determine whether Free or Full features are available in the app.
Support requests
If you contact support, you may choose to send logs, screenshots, exported files, error messages, or other details needed to diagnose an issue.
Please do not send database passwords, secrets, private keys, or confidential production data in support requests unless specifically requested through a secure process.
